I was the closing manager at a retail store. Business was usually very slow the last few hours so I would do all of my work and then play ootp before closing time.

The owner knew I brought my laptop and didn't care at all. Apparently, he also never cared to pay his bills because the store closed when he couldn't pay back over a quarter of a million dollars he owed to a wholesale company. They were letting him pay $500 bucks a week on a quarter-million dollar debt with NO INTEREST whatsoever and he still chose to spend money on his "toys" instead of paying the small weekly bill.

Any kind of Addiction that has a powerful hold on the mind, body and soul has that kind of effect ... a very sad affair ... I applaud to those that knows those issues and yet able to walk - one day at a time - free ...

I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it may tend to incriminate me.

The forum is the closest I come when at work. Now, if I ever own my own business I might change that motto. My goal, though, is to have the money to pay the utility bills so I can play OOTP with fully-functional electricity and internet.

These.

I've been tempted, though. Call it work ethic or pride, but I just cannot get comfortable with the idea. OOTPB belongs to my world of rest and relaxation. Work is work; I don't share OOTPB or much of anything else that I love with that world.

The forum, on the other hand . . .
