Next OOTP 13 patch coming later this week.

Hey guys,

we're currently working on the next OOTP 13 patch. It will fix reported issues and add the following new features / tweaks:

- Added the option to place the toolbar at the bottom of the screen (preferences dialog)
- Added "Auto-play to your next game" to the play menu if the game is in the future
- Added the option to disable the automatic season prediction creation (game options / reports settings)
- Added the option to import historical rookies as free agents when the first-year player draft is disabled in historical leagues (league setup / historical tab)
- Added optional latitude & longitude fields to ballpark data, along with the function to show the ballpark in Google Earth (if installed & proper coordinates are set)
- Tweaked contract evaluation AI, players no longer react to an offer and sign with a different team on the same day
- Improved minor league roster AI when incomplete minors (ghost players) are enabled
- Tweaked development of injury history rating, short-term injuries have less effect now

The plan is to release this on Friday or Sunday. Once it is out of the door, I will take the month of May off. Andreas will continue to work on the online league features and we will have some nice new stuff for online leagues in the next update which is scheduled for June

Didn't see it listed so just wanted to check if the updates to the 2012 roster set are included in this patch.

Yes, they are. But as always, you need to start a new game for the changes to show up.

Could You please add General Manager to the select job list to the editor for coaches so we can hire a general manager. Once one is deleted or fired you can't hire one back. That team won't have one again. Also lets us hire our own General manager.

One small request for this or an upcoming patch.

On the page where you can see the players batting/pitching log, could you make that sort by date, or have the latest date at the top instead of at the bottom?

It's a pain, especially on my laptop, towards the end of a season to have to keep scrolling down to the end to see what a player did in his last couple of appearances.

Huh? Not sure what you mean really. Can you explain this different please? I am not aware of any GM issues.

You mean having an existing league and then turning it into a feeder league afterwards? No, that won't make the patch, sorry.

BTW at times it seems that the 2nd sub-league has a problem re-seeding teams in the 2nd round of the playoffs (if you choose the option to re-seed). 1st sub-league never has that problem but i've seen it many times so far with the 2nd league.

anyone else notice this?

Also, what is the tie-breaker used by the game when determining which team out of 2 or 3 gets the higher seed with the same record?

If the Braves and Cubs are both 92-70 what is the tiebreaker the game uses to determine who gets higher seed in playoffs?

When you are in the editor for a person who is a coach. When you want to hire him. Can you add in the job list screen General manager to it.It has manager, Hitting Coach, Batting Coach etc.

I Noticed that if you deleted a General Manager for a team there is no way to get a GM back for that team. There is no way to hire a GM execpt yourself tfor any team. If you want to make a retired ex player into a GM there is no way to do it. You can un retire him and then he becomes a Bench coach. If you can add the option of GM to the job list then you can do this.

Also there is no way to just add a GM to the game that i can see.

But if you delete your GM from the game, Then that team that had his GM deleted can't get another GM again.

Please try this and you'll see what i mean. Delete a GM form a Team and see if you can hire another one for that team or even try and get one from the team screen from that team.

When a leaague is started the game creates Fictional GM's for each team. But if one is deleted then there is no way to hire one back for that team that had his deleted.

If you want to have a GM that you want for a team you had to edit the fictional GM to make him who you wanted to have for that team.

Can you make it so we can hire anybody we want for a GM for each team.

Or have a way to hire a GM for a Team that doesn't have a GM.

If the Option of GM was added to the Jobs list in the editor screen of a coach then it would be very easy to do.

Does this work as a hover? What I mean is, if you hover your mouse over a colour on the logo will it automatically identify it for you?

3B/1B Coaches,Vice President and other Coaches and Staff,the ability to interview other Teams people for like a GM opening. In E. League option include Minor Leagues Options with it to? In person's Bio show what College they went to and sort by College they went to
