Wierd AI Subs

I play as the Braves and am playing a series against the Dodgers... 2 games in a row now Andre Ethier started the game but when it come to his first at bat the AI pinch hits for him... has anyone one else seen that or have an explanation as to why this would happen?

Cant think of any good reason. Did you have a lefty starting pitcher both games? His L/R splits in real life are a huge difference but that still wouldnt explain why he started in the first place if the computer saw the splits as the huge disadvantage.

If he's hurt, the game may leave him in as the starter & PH at his first at-bat. At least, it would in 12. Which was always odd when the first AB didn't come until after the first inning and there's no way the guy was able to play the field.

yeah i think u r right cuz the 3rd game of the series he didnt start and i clicked on him and it said he was out for 6 days with back spasms or something.. would be cool if they started him then had to take him out cuz his back was acting up hehe
