Thinking, he still has great defensive skills I'll use him to shore up a young pitcher and as a defensive replacement. He then went and hit .300 with 12 homeruns in part time work. He literally has no signs of life in his batting ratings, but yet the next season I was like, he'll come back to earth. Next season..its .296 with 10. I seriously almost regret not starting him the whole season cause my #1 C who has much better ratings hit .224 with 6 HR in almost full time work. Anyone seen this consistently with players with high motor/leadership or is this just a weird occurrence.

i've seen it with certain guys in our online league with ootp 12, there's times guys with all ratings 7 and below just seem to hit and guys with high ratings always seem to underperform
