Difficult negotiations

Occasionally I have met a contract demand only to have the player respond that he wants more. And again. Sometimes when this happens I agree to the new demand and add a little money beyond the new demand in hopes of getting out of the algorithm, yet I still get rebuffed.

A question for players (not for developers): Is trying to sign a player who declines your offer to meet his demands futile, or is there a work-around I have not stumbled on yet?

I've had this problem too. Along with meeting a players demand, him rejecting and not asking for anything more when I try again. Look idjit, if you're not going to re-sign, just tell me so I can move on, jeez.
