Ballparks and coordinates
I'm new to the game and would like to use the actual ballparks instead of the default one. What is the best way to set these up so that all the ball coordinates don't have to be moved manually?
Where is the best place to find the ballparks that work the best with the game. Thanks Ihs92375

Online manual: Out of the Park Baseball Manual Ballpark data and pictures: Ballparks | OOTPMODS.COM Find Gambo's great 2011 Stadium Chart for historical and current data on hundreds of ballparks, most of which you never even heard of! But, for ballpark factors especially, this is the source. All of that is the good news. The bad news is, as far as I know now (I'm still looking at OOTP 13 myself), all data entry is manual. If you get a standard set of ballpark images to use, with identical image layout and proportions, then you can enter one set of player coordinates and copy them to all ballparks, but that's about it as far as automation goes. EDIT: As expected, I did find something new (to me, at least, if not to OOTP 13). You can export and import individual park data as shown below in a section from the online manual. This means the capability could be used by modders who wish to share their ballparks. I haven't seen any, but you may want to keep an eye on the Mods sub-forum. That info needs updating as you can export all prk files at once for every single ballpark you find in the ballparks list.
DesertFox's the show ballparks have both day and night prk files with them. Search the mods forum. I didn't see them in add-ons central or ootpmods.com, but I could have just missed it. If you use them and they don't have the prk files, pm me and I'll send em to ya as I did those for him. Last edited by Bigrod; 04-12-2012 at 06:28 PM. |

So with the .prk files I don't have to put in the coordinates for each ballpark it is already set up? And I can import them every time I start a new game using the MLB ballparks?
