OOTP 13 Update, Version 13.2.6 Released!

Hey guys,

we have just released a new update for OOTP 13, version number 13.2.6.

UPDATE Info:
To apply the patch, simply download the setup file and install it over your current installation. Alternatively, for PC only, there is a smaller patch file which will update your current installation properly. There no need to uninstall or unlicense your current copy! However, you should quit the game before installing it, of course. There is no special 'patch file' this time because it would not have been significantly smaller than the full setup.

Here is the list of fixes / improvements in version 13.2.6 compared to version 13.1.4:
- Fixed memory leak in the simulation screen which caused long-term simulations to slow down
- Tweaked default number of protected players in historical league expansion drafts
- On the day of a fantasy draft player's morale no longer reacts to promotions / demotions
- Added back manual All-Star voting to the league menu 30 days prior to the All-Star game
- Fixed manual ballpark import function
- Fixed problems with owners disappearing
- Fixed some minor bugs

The patch was also supposed to fix the NY Yankees history in the major league quickstart, but I messed something up. The next patch will fix this, also in already created games.

A request Markus-
for future patches can you name the download file with an appended version identifier?

I end up having to put a "_26" (or whatever version) to keep things straight as there are typically multiple "ootp13update.exe" files on my computer and I don't necessarily want to overwrite the previous one.

You don't need to save the old setup files, because we save all the old releases here: Index of /ootp

Glad to hear you will fix the Yankees historical bug in previously created leagues in the next patch.

The fact that the game is so good that a team's history is my nitpick is an amazing testament to the work you guys do.

Excellent. I started my fictional league last night which uses long-term simming and noticed that it slowed down pretty bad after simming the first season so I'm excited to try this out.

I just downloaded and installed the full installer for the PC and my version still says 13.1.4.

I tried the update instead of the full installer and now my version is correct (13.2.6). I'm not sure the full installer for the PC has the correct link.

Try again in a few minutes... since this is from an amazon cloud server maybe you got a link which was not updated yet.

I moved the file to a version-specific folder to make sure you get the correct version from the CloudFront system, please try again if you did not receive the correct file.

Like I said in another thread, Hopefully in the next patch or the patch after.. after 11 59 PM it goes to mid-night but it still says 12pm instead of 12AM... It's not a big deal, but it would still be nice if it was fixed.

For those of us that are still running the pre-release version of the game, can we apply this patch directly to the pre-release version or do we first need to install the release day version?

Will this tweak have any affect on a Historical League start up if you are not using the Fantasy Draft?

I just started a 1973 League and 75% of the players are mad or even angry with where they were placed. And I am still at January 1, 1973.

Maybe you could add an option in the future under settings to zero out all morale ratings at once?

There is no difference between the early release (6 Apr) and the regular release (9 Apr) other than patches. They are the same game. Just install the patch to your current game.

Oh cool. I was wondering if it started from my post.

So I will take that to mean, yes it will help my situation. Even thou I'm not doing a real "fantasy draft", as the players are getting assigned to teams automatically.

I have to restart anyway as Spritze came out with a new HS database and it looks like I need to add a Rookie League level.

I redownloaded and the file size is now different than 12.1.4, so I assume it got the right one this time. I had already installed the patch, so I can't really make sure it is the correct version, but I imagine by now you would have lots of posts if ti wasn't correct.

So excited, my brand new PC just arrived today! My old PC bit the dust last Thursday so I haven't been able to download the game yet despite pre-ordering. I feel very little sleep coming on tonight and the fact that Markus already released so many fixes is even better.
