I'd like to clarify something, since some seemed to be almost offended that I put such a feature into OOTP 5...
This is a part of the game that is somewhat "hidden"... you do not need to pay any attention if you don't care! I personally wanted this feature in there because I like the idea of managing your virtual son and see him rise through the minors and make his big league debut. And I had some fun developing and testing it! AGAIN, this is a feature that doesn't need any attention if you do not care! Oh, I forgot to mention that those houses and cars will not be part of it... I planned it but it makes no sense at all!

First OOTP5 "Challenge" manage a team who's roster is comprised entirely of your own progeny.

Will we be able to turn this feature off completely? Quite frankly, I'm still having a hard time believing that this is for real. This has to be a joke, right? If not, I would prefer not to have it happening in my game at all. So I hope this is something we can turn off.

options
Even if I don’t like it, as long as I can toggle it ‘off’ it won’t hurt me.

You might want to refer to Markus' previous answer to your question on that subject, SimRat. It can be ignored..for those that do not like it. I am in favor of it, but then again, I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Always willing to try something first before I have an opinion either way.

I would think this would actually be a quite interesting option. I would be all for it and atleast would like to see it in action.
It would add some more realism; However there should definately be a toggle on off button for it; |
