The FCB is currently in the offseason and this is the perfect time to join this fun and well run league. Playing Talent and Stats Only (no current ratings displayed) increases the Fog Of War and provides a unique challenge. Is your prize 20 year-old prospect ready for the show after dominating AA? Can the superstar free agent from Japan put up big numbers in the USA? Is your star 1B worth a huge contract extension at the age of 36 or is the risk of age related decline just too great? In all cases, you have to make the call by looking only at the potential ratings and the stats.
The commissioner runs through the season at a brisk pace (five 7-day sims every week) and that helps to keep the owners active and engaged. Another nice feature is the mandatory roll call at the end of the season that helps to weed out the deadbeats. We currently have 19 active owners. How would you like to become our 20th? |

I did look at this, and it seems interesting, but only 4 out of 20 teams make the playoffs?
It seems like midway through the season a lot of teams are already out of the hunt, and don't have much to play for. How does interest in the playoff races stay high? |

That's true that only 4 of the 20 teams reach the postseason. However, I think the brisk pace helps to keep owners of non-competitive teams from getting bored. It takes less than 2 weeks to sim from the trade deadline to the playoffs and only about one week more to crown the new champion.
