Ratings ...
Hi - what's the difference between overal/potential rating and positional ratings? For example, I have a starting pitcher with 24/25 av/pot ratings, and a 7 in 'rating as pitcher' ...
I mean, I'm thinking that someone with a 7 rating in their position (on 1 to 20 scale) has no business being anywhere near my ballpark, but clearly there is more to it if he makes the lineup every week.

The positional rating is his fielding rating, so the 7 indicates that your pitcher is a below-average fielder.

Ah. I'm confused now. I thought that the 'Rating as Pitcher' was his, well, rating as a pitcher, but it is in fact his defensive rating as an outfielder?
Overall/Potential ratings then are his ratings as a pitcher (when compared to the rest of the league in that position ..) |
