Best Franchise Settings?

First time with game. Are there any options I should switch to enhance the franchise experience.

It really depends on what you are looking for. This game has so many customization options you can really tailor it to how much or how little you want to involve yourself in. It took me a couple of seasons to figure out how I wanted to play the game.

Here are some features I change that I realize change the realism of the game but they make it more fun for me (I may have the names of some features wrong, but I think you'll get the idea):

Scouting Accuracy: I increase the accuracy a bit.

Injury Frequency: I turn it to low. I like having to make roster moves that involve injuries, but the realistic setting is too frequent and frustrating for me.

Full Coaching: I turn off the coaches so that I don't have to hire/extend their contracts. It always distracted me from what I really like to do in this game.

GM options: I set it up to make all decisions myself with the exception of the 2-3 minor league options (lineups, promotion/demotion, and hiring/releasing). Those I leave up to the AI.

Dynamic Evolution: I turn off most of the options except for teams moving/changing names, and league expansion.

That's all I can think of for now, and again, these are just how I like to play the game.
