I have a question in a Future Update or The next IOOTP Game could you guys add a feature to advance a runner by base by pressing something
Example. Runner on third and my hitter flys out to center field could you guys make if that happend a pop-up come up saying press "GO" to send them home or "STAY" for them to say this option is prob. a long shot but i could use some agrees

I've seen this in the PC (OOTP 10) version. In your example, with a runner on third the and the hitter flies out to centerfield the PbP announcer will pose a question "Will the runner go?" and an option to send the runner home or leave him at third will appear.

I hope Palli can add this to iOOTP11 or a future version of iOOTP.

We had to remove the feature late during beta testing due to a technical issues so I'm pretty sure we will see this feature in iOOTP 2012.

I hope that maybe this can be something that the game uses your strategy settings for, instead of having the play pause in the middle of it. Having to hit a button in the middle of the play by play breaks the flow.

In a real game, there's no opportunity to communicate to the runner directly--that's what the coaches are for. So the user should have a setting, or have to make the decision earlier (at the start of the plate appearance--like setting the infield or outfield position when you're on defense) than in the middle of the baserunning situation.

I am glad to hear that it will probably be in a future upgrade. Many times I have had base runners thrown out in situations where I would have never sent them. For example...down by 4 in the ninth inning and thrown out trying to go from first to third.

If it is added I hope when it asks go or stay you show outfielders arm and running rating to make an educated guess.

I'll be honest and say I hate that feature in OOTP11. I think it's a handicap without a visual representation of what's happening and at best you are making a guess.

Thanks Palli for answering this if we could see that in IOOTP 2012 in the ipod touch and ipad that would make IOOTP 2012 one step closer to being the best game in the app store thanks p.s. one more thing you prob. dont know anything at this point but is the Projected date for IOOTP 2012 could come out before summer next year but anyways thank for the comment and heads up
