Computer Manager Question....

While it seems like they did in past versions of the game,I am not seeing the computer managers take advantage of expanded rosters in OOTP12. Should they?

This particular issue is not one I am having issuewise. In fact I recently had an expanded roster call-up pitch a perfect game in his first ever appearance!

In every setup I do (historical or fictional), the roster size never changes for September. 16/20, 20/25, 25/40 the computer managed teams always have the same roster size the whole season.

I've never seen this myself, but it sounds to me like you may have a setting wrong in league setup.

I believe it's on the rules tab (at work now so can't access game), there is a setting for how large the expanded roster can be and what date also.

Check this, you may have it at 25, same as the active roster prior to expanded rosters.

I saw this too, but I thought it was due to my using reserve era finances and no minors. I got to September and all the teams just stayed at 25.

It seems like it works with a certin combination of roster/expansion/reserve sizes

for my 1800's teams (which I want small team rosters and reserves),
16/20/24 works while 18/24/22 doesn't.
