Starting out... Rosters? Facepacks? Eh?

Hi, first timer.

Is there like a list of "recommended" facepacks, rosters, in-game mods, etc. that new-to-the-gamers should load up?

I noticed the "Add Ons Central" page... do I need to fool with anything after they've been downloaded? Like, I've begun by downloading the HFP 2010/11 All In One as it sounded like a pretty useful download. Do I need anything else after this (being that it's "all in one")?

Any useful advice or downloading suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks!

after you download the All in 1 dont forget to install it.....all in one will have facegen logos for modern teams along with their caps and uniforms including many modern alternates.
If you play outside of modern, say 1975 then you would have to download the logos uniforms for those teams for those yrs unless you just want current uniforms
Also you would still have to manually add the photos for the various ballparks....Gambo has the best set of real photos while both MLB:The show and 2k10 have the best graphic parks...2k10 is best for modern the show for older parks and minor leagues.
OOTP Ballparks

check out the other files on Padresfan also.

Awesome! Thank you.

What's the deal with CubbyFan's roster file over in the mod area? Should I download that? Is it worthwhile?

Also, is there a recommended "tune" file? Like... I read that people recommend turning down the league's scarifice bunting. I searched around and couldn't find anything that had to do with sacrifice bunting... so is there a file somewhere? I'm a bit lost in that category.

EDIT: and is the Gambo Excel sheet "Stadium Charts" of any use?

If you want updated rosters Cubbyfan's is the way to go vs what the game starts with.
there are no "tune" files...did you used to play High Heat? as far as pointing you in the right direction for settings i can not try Pming Biggio or Cody for that.
Gambo's 2011 seating chart has all the dimensions and factors of just about any park ever in existence in North America...if you play modern you shouldn't need it...iI don;t know about cubbyfan's roster bu the game has dimensions and factors preloaded. If you play fictional like I do then his seating chart is a must. I use it for every new league and expansion I have.
Also check out the 1901-2011 compiled uniforms if you play before 2010. I have every uniform and logo 100% accurate for my 1999 White Sox.
