Considering buying, just a few questions...
I'm thinking of purchasing version 12, but have some questions.
1) I'd like to create a dynasty starting in 1901 and going up to the present time. Does the game have a complete database of stadiums so that you can simply change from one to another at the correct time or whenever you want to? Eg. The Reds stopped playing in Candlestick Park in '02, moving to the Great American Ball Park in '03. Is there an option where the game automatically makes this change? Is there an option for you to do it manually, so you could make them move (if you want to) in '05 instead of '03, with the stadiums all listed fro you to pick and choose from? 2) With the rookies, is there a realistic period of time between when they are drafted and when they play their first game? In version 8 (the newest one I have) the players get drafted and make their first appeanrance for the club on the same day. 3) Is there an option to not hold the draft? So that each year the new players who come in are considered to be unsigned free agents? That's all I can think of for now. Thanks for any assistance. |

Thinking as Well
My biggest question is can you add/rate individual players for this game like the boxing game and can you add seasons in the future

If you use the spritze high school database, I believe players will import when they were 18, and will need to develop in the minors just like fictional rookies. 3) Is there an option to not hold the draft? So that each year the new players who come in are considered to be unsigned free agents? You can disable the draft. But I believe players will be placed on their real life teams, and not into the free agent pool. |

Have yet to try it in 12, but in previous versions this was possible.

Interesting. Is there a guide somewhere to using this database?
You need to download spritze's modified database for ootp12. from padrefans mod site... It goes into the stats folder (it overwrites the default database, so back it up). then just start a historical like normal. Just use normaized stats. Is this done by simply turning off the draft? And can you combine this with using the high school database? Yes. Turning off the ammy draft makes players join the actual team they debuted with. and yes, it does work with the high school database. |
