OOTP Version: v12, but we will be looking to convert to v13 within the next season or two.

Players: We use the Lahman database and are currently in the year 2008. When we reach the end of the database we are discussing the continuation of the league by using rookie pools from turn-of-the-century seasons (i.e. 1870-1940's)

League Time Per Sim: 15 day sims
First Season: league goes back to 1960's I believe (long before I joined)

Special Rules & Settings: We use an unique free agent bidding system using a separate forum. The details are outlined in the league rules which you should read before joining.

Agreed, and it isn't everyday that an opening in a league run by f.montoya (Fidel) comes up. Fidel and all the other long time vets of this league make it one of the best around!

Just a fantastic league. Long-term owners that have owned teams since 1960. A handful of owners commish their own leagues in addition to owning a team within Asahi......so there cannot be too many other leagues out there that are more experienced with this game.
The competition level is high, but we are always open to helping players that are new to online leagues -- so it's perfect for any hotshot OOTP veteran or a noobie who would like to try an OOTP league for the first time.

Scouts are ON.

It's 2004 and we have yet to make official plans once we hit 2012-13 and fictional players.......but the league will certainly continue on.
If I was to guess we will move forward with historical players that have not been used in the league yet (pre1960), but it's up in the air, we vote on everything.

The Marlins have a young and talented pitching staff, with Lance Berkman & Dimtri Young leading the way offensively. They are not far away from competing.

The A's have a lot of nice talent like Derek Jeter, Mike Sweeney & Jose Vidro; but they could be a few years behind the Marlins because the Marlins have so much pitching.

As was stated Fidel is our commissioner, and his experience with OOTP is legendary. You aren't going to be letdown, unless you like disorganized & inconsistent leagues.

I forgot to mention that we are currently waiting on these two spots to fill up before we move forward with Free Agency, so that the new owners can get a fair shake.
