Free Agents to Active Roster?

Hi,

I am new to the Out of the Park games, so I had one quick question. I signed 3 players off of the Free Agents lists (Starting Pitcher and 2 Middle Relievers - not that its very relevant to the post) I got the emails in my inbox on the game saying that they had signed their contracts.

My question is how do I add them to my roster because I looked in all of my teams (from Double A all the way to my Major League team) and they weren't there. How can I add them to my active roster?

Thanks,
Michael

They should be on your Designated for Assignment list. (DFA). You can then simply add them if you have room on your roster. I am assuming you are playing with a 25 active roster and a 40 man protected roster.

Another Question,

I try to add them to my active roster, but when I try it says could not put player on secondary (40-man roster), does that mean I have to put them on my first 40 man roster before I can put them on my 25 man roster?

Your 40 man roster may be full, or it may not be it was just a guess.

Like Trammelfan said, I think your 25 man roster is full. You will need to remove a player first to make room for your free agent. This means you will either have to a demote a player with a (*) or waived and designate a player for reassigement (+) from your 25 man roster.

OR

Your 40 man roster is full and you will have to waive, trade or release someone from there to make room.
