Issues with Windows 7 64 bit ???
Does anyone know if there are issues with OOTP12 with Windows 7 64 bit ??? I recently upgrade to a decent high end gaming computer and seem to have issues with OOTP12, OOTPX & OOTP11 are on my previous computer still...
I have been in numberous OOTPX & OOTP11 leagues and but 2 of the leagues that moved to ootp12 I have been having issues getting files and extracting them. I have been using 7 zip. The league files I have been getting have been tar.gz, but when I extract using 7 zip, it takes it to just a .tar file, then I have to extract again to get the files, never had this issue before... |

You probably need to turn the UAC off.
It works fine for me. |

MightyQuinn, this may sound like a dumb question, but is there any way for you to try transferring your league/s to your new computer directly instead of packing them in a file that will need to be extracted? Possibly try a flash or external HDD? Just an idea.

A .tar file is just an uncompressed archive file, and a .tar.gz file is a .tar file that has been compressed using gzip. Two different operations, so 7zip treats them as such. |
