In-game downloading...

Anybody have an idea on why my league can't download the file in-game? We are on the right version of the game (12.2.17), I have set up the online options and tested each one and they say 'success' after it when I run the testing.

Same thing is happening when I goto Commissioner's setting and import all files at once, nothing works but it does when I do it manually.

What a terrible transition for my league to version 12 and I got no idea why. First the archive couldn't be created now this. For the archive issues, I opened tickets, etc and only got 1 response and that was from this board, I heard nothing from the open ticket so I am hoping you guys can help me again

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Is this an OOOL league or non-OOOL online league?

If non-OOOL league, did you make sure to send everyone the gm accounts dat file from the settings folder so their games know how to upload to the server correctly?

It is a non-OOOL league. Yes, I zipped up the entire settings folder and let them download it and they created a settings folder within the game and moved all files there.

Can you send me in PM a FTP trace of someone who is unable to download the league file in game? I can look at it and offer suggestions based on that.

I'm wondering if the bold above is your problem.

If you zipped up the entire "settings" folder, AND they created a "settings" folder, then the gm accounts dat file might be in the wrong place for many or all of them if they simply unpacked your zip inside their newly created "settings" folder.

They might have: /yourleague.lg/settings/settings/accountsdata_gms.dat
But it should be: /yourleague.lg/settings/accountsdata_gms.dat

You should verify with your league members which way they have it.

Also, if you have an extra computer with OOTP 12 installed(you know one license is good for two installs!), try acting as a league member and see if you can export with the same files you provided them on your second machine. If you can, then there might be some mistake your league members are making, such as the one I described above. If you find that you can't export from another computer, the problem lies in what you are providing(files, settings folder, etc.).

If you don't have a second computer to try this, catch me within the next hour and I will be happy to try for you.
