question about saved lineups

I have saved lineups versus left handed pitchers and saved lineups versus right handed pitchers for my team. Now it is game time and the computer gives a different lineup, in a different order or with some sub players. Is there a button or menu to allow me to scrap the lineup and install one of my saved lineups or do I have to manually make the changes one at a time?? thanks.

That has happened to me as well. There are times when a player is being replaced because he is growing tired, but that is not always the case.

I'm going to assume that what you're experiencing is a result of your depth charts. Say, if you're resting your centerfielder every 5th game then the CPU will insert that replacement into the lineup and adjust the lineup based on the players' ratings to determine the best lineup.

This again is just an assumption and Palli will have to help me on this one.

The question regarding whether or not you can insert a saved lineup once you hit the "play game" button is, unfortunately, no you cannot insert a saved lineup. You would have to manually change the lineup at that point. You can try adjusting your depth chart so that your starters are never replaced. That way you can manage every game and adjust each game as you see fit. To give your starters a chance to rest, etc to avoid injuries.

Let me know how it goes.
