BB Card feature help
I'm hoping somebody can help me get the BB card set-up to work. I've been playing with it for three days off and on.
I'm trying to use the Topps 1961 set. The default, all-star and hof cards work fine. Its the end of year awards that I cant seem to get to work (with the exception of the MVP card. In my league setup I have award names setup as "Cy Young Award", "Most Valuable Player Award", "Rookie of the Year Award" and "Gold Glove Award". In my BB Card folder in the OOTP12 install, I have the following files: all-star.xml cy_young_award.xml default.xml defense_award.xml gold_glove_award.xml hitter_award.xml hof.xml most_valuable_player_award.xml pitcher_award.xml rookie_award.xml I was told in another post to remove the generic named files for a historical league, but then I just get default cards. Any help would be appreciated. |

Everything in your post looks like it should work, I wish I had 12 so I could personally check it out. Also, you don't have to remove the generic award files, you can keep them together in the same folder as a fail safe if you'd like. If I remember correctly, the game checks for an xml with the same name as your award first, then looks for the "generic" version (ie. the pitcher_award.xml) and then uses the default card if the other two are missing.
