Info (hot/cold)
When the computer alerts us to a player who is hot or cold, is this just calling our attention to something that we might not have observed, adding some color to our experience, or is that player's performance temporarily adjusted, perhaps making us want to change our use of him.
... e.g. is a cold batter less likely to get a hit at the next at-bat than the same batter would when he is not cold?
In practical terms, should we do something when that info column shows a player to be hot or cold, like to be sure to use him or to stop using him.
Not knowing much about real-life baseball, my impression is that there is eternal disagreement about what to do when a hitter is in a slump, sit him down or make him play though it.
OOTP is astonishingly complex, but I have no idea if the coding takes into account streaks.
