All Star Game Issue

My friends and I have a "historical" OOTP league with fictional teams and "real" players. The owners pick their favorite players from baseball history 1880's to today.

We have two leagues with an unbalanced schedule. The owners wanted an All Star Game, so we have that option chosen in the schedule. However when we create the schedule, there's a three day break, but the All Star game is always scheduled on the day before the All Star break and plays simultaneously with all the regular league games scheduled for that date.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
