Problem setting up Online Options

We are currently a OOTPX league and will switch to OOTP12 in the upcoming offseason. I've taken a copy of our league file and imported it into 11 and then into 12. When re-entering the Online Options settings (not using OOOL just trying to duplicate what we have in X right now), all I can get is not able to connect to server messages. I've double and triple checked the settings and passwords to be correct.

I'm on a mac and one thing I notice when entering a password is that you can't backspace to clear the one last asterisk in the field. Not sure this is any kind of problem or not. I've hand typed the password and copied and pasted from the X field. Either way no joy. (of course I don't even know if the password is the problem)

Is there anything I should be doing differently than I did in X? All the setting dialogs look identical.

When you try to delete the passwords, I've sometimes seen the same behavior regarding the last asterisk (I'm on a windows system though). What I did was, with my mouse manually move the cursor behind the last asterisk (to the right of the last asterisk), and then I can backspace through all of the asterisks, including the last one.

Regarding settings, so far I've not had problems copying over my settings in any testing that I've done on upgrading a league. When the league is not a part of the OOOL, the same settings as before seem to work for me. (one note, I've tested this with FTP download of league files, not with HTTP, so not sure if any issues with that). So maybe your issue is the passwords aren't quite right due to the problem you are having with deleting the asterisks out.
