Kudos to Those Responsible For the PbP

As I was becoming familiar with the game, I created a Historical 1959 season and played the White Sox opener against Detroit. The PbP was just great. It may just be my imagination, but the commentary seemed much more concise and streamlined. In the past, I've always felt that some descriptions, especially grounders on the infield that eventually end up as outfield hits, were too verbose.

Not any more. The play descriptions were right to the point and I never felt like I didn't know in my mind's eye where the ball was on the field. I play most games pitch by pitch and this has really increased the realism for me. There was even a play where the announcer commented on a "pretty" ball girl who was fielding a foul down the left field line. It really brought a smile to my face.

Thanks to all for the work involved in this version. I'm just beginning to explore the game but so far..it's wonderful!

Thank you! Several members of our beta team have spent a LOT of time improving the play-by-play and news stories the past couple of years! Without them, it wouldn't be half as good...
