Dear OOTP fans,

we have just officially released Out of the Park Baseball 12, the latest version of our critically acclaimed baseball bimulation game (I bet you didn't know that ).

Update / Download Information:
The release version is build version 12.0.3. Those of you who have preordered and installed the game in the last couple of days, please update to the current version. To do so, you can either download the full game and simply install it over your existing OOTP 12 installation, or download and install the patch (PC only). Here are the download links:

Important note: We have made many fixes to the major league roster set. These changes only apply when you start a new major league game, though!

Here is the list of fixes in version 12.0.3 compared to version 12.0.1 from Monday's release:
- Added new function above the league totals section (league setup) to import league totals from a selected year
- Tweaked "Assign fictional player contracts" function
- Fixed several issues in the major league roster set (need to start new game for changes to apply)
- Fixed crash when looking at the coach search & shortlist
- Fixed crash when entering front office screen at a low screen resolution
- Fixed OOTP 11 league import
- Fixed Rule 5 draft eligibility
- Fixed several cosmetic problems
- Fixed AI problems when rehab assignments ended
- Fixed morale hits for players on rehab assignments
- Fixed information popups
- Fixed problems with sound the first time starting the game after installation
- Locking a player to a minor league level now also prevents promotion to the majors
- Removed real lineups / transactions option for pre-1901 leagues
- Full setup installer will automatically update older data files, no need to uninstall when upgrading

Of course! I think you should offer the pre-order crowd the game a week in advance. This would definitely help with the small (sometimes big) bug squashing.

How about the player showing "better offer received" in the free agent pending screen, even when they don't have another offer? I think someone said it was found and fixed in a thread, but I don't see it listed.

Agreed. I really don't mind the early bugs, because every game is going to have them at release. This was really a "light bug" pre-release compared to other titles (where it is common to have several big "show stoppers," whether it is a release from a major company or a small one). The fact they fixed so much this quickly is a testament to a good company. Kudos, team!
