Leaving iPhone, Going Android

I was an Android guy before I had my iPhone but I'm having to go back and get a Thunderbolt. (Mom's phone broke, wants my iphone) I read that the IOOTP crew isn't interested in going to Android so am I just SOL?

P.S. I'm not a PC gamer so the PC version isn't going to do me any good.

Where did you hear that the iOOTP team wasn't interested in porting to Android?

In the FAQ page, I pulled this:

Q: Will iOOTP be available for Android?
A: Not immediately. We will, however, possibly look into porting it to Android in the future.

"Thats right, we have not planed an Android version at the moment because of the return policy. If that ever changes we will look again. "

"Also, keep in mind we are a tiny company, so we've got enough work already... supporting another platform results in more work, and at the moment that would be more than we could handle. But if iOOTP does well, we will certainly look into Andriod too "

If you have a PC (or Mac for that matter) desktop that you can leave up running (or not perhaps), you could load up OOTP and remotely access from you mobile via a 'remote desktop' app like TeamViewer. Haven't tested it, but it may just work and perhaps worth a try. (TV is for Android as well as iPhone and according to an article I read, the top of it's kind, disregarding 'Splashtop' which is iPhone only).
