Embroidered Patch Logos
I've been working off and on (mainly off!) on a logo that looks like an embroidered patch. I finally have a result that I am happy with. It still needs some tweaking but I think it's getting close. I exaggerated the stitches so it'll show at 150x150...this is 300x300.

Looks good. Much cleaner than my vintage letter logos, but I was also trying to get an older appearance.

Looks good! I'd be curious to see what it looks like at 150x150.

As expected, a lot of detail is lost. I think I'll try to enhance the contrast, etc. and see how that goes...

Yeah, if you can make it so the detail remains then it can look really good. I tried to do that with hat logos but couldn't get it to look all that good.

It looks really good at 600x600!
![]() I think I will try adding some detail after it is reduced in size...otherwise the detail is obliterated during shrinking.

I ditched the embroidered border because at 150x150 it just looks like a colored ring. I'm focusing on just the letter...still needs work but this isn't too bad. I doesn't look enough like thread yet....

Why not just do the embroidery on the 150x150 size instead of on the 600X600 and then reducing it?
That first one in the post looks awesome and I think if you just did your magic on the 150x150 without trying to reduce it, it would look great. |

Thanks. I came to that conclusion as well. It will take a good bit of work to do that but I plan to do it eventually. Right now I'm trying to get my league going.

Here's one I have. I did not make it; it is a picture of an actual embroidered logo. But you see that it is possible to get the effect at 150x150.

Have you tried loading the 300x300 size in OOTP? I have noticed the game seems to handle shrinking better than some graphics programs. You may actually get the effect you are looking for that way.
