FOOL-X celebrating its upcoming 100th season!

FOOL-X is the younger of two fast-sim online leagues that make up the FOOL community. Starting in the 1961 season, over the past two years we've simmed one season every week (with a handful of vacations along the way) up till the upcoming 2058 season. As a celebration for the 2060 season, our 100th for this league, we have been taking a trip back in time. Looking back at the past century of FOOL-X baseball, we're looking to see which teams were the best of the last century, which rivalries were the strongest, who were the greatest players of our first century and the FOOL-X All-century team, plus much more!

FOOL-X: The road to Season 100!

For those unfamiliar with FOOL-X, as mentioned above, it is a fast sim format. We sim 5 days a week, breaking up the entire season calendar year over those 5 sims. The pace is fast, but it is the single best source of instant gratification in the OOTP online league world. No other online league gives owners the opportunity to draft a talented prospect, raise and develop them in the minors, decide when to give them the call to the majors and then attempt to get the most out of them each season. While trying to fight free agency demands to hold on to your superstar, you'll get to see if they might end up becoming an all star, help lead your team to a title or perhaps one day even receive election to the hall of fame!

FOOL-X runs on OOTP11, and has no plans to upgrade to OOTP12. We do have the parent/flagship league in our community as well, the original FOOL which will be upgrading to OOTP12 and is currently in its 160th season! Unfortunately we do not have any openings in either league currently as we have a very strong core of owners that get along great and enjoy the intense competition between each other. From time to time however spots will open up, so if you would like to be put on the waiting list for either league, or simply would like to learn more about our leagues, or our concept, please feel free to drop me a PM!

Quick bump. Our 99th season is running this morning and the big headline is our new Home Run Champion. Hector Palmeiro (a Dave Kingman type clone), broke the previous record of 702 HR this morning and is currently working on increasing the new all time total.

Our 100th season runs next week, come follow along in the fun with us!
