game crashes every time

I've downloaded iOOTP onto both my iPad (OS 4.3.3) and iPhone 4 (OS 4.3.3).

I've started a season with the Rangers on both platforms and have yet to be able to complete a game. I'm 5 for 5 on iPad and 3 for 3 on iPhone crashes.

The crash tends to happen if I choose "throw to X base." That has been 6 of the crashes (4 iPad, 2 iPhone). The other crashes have occurred when making a mound visit (1 on iPad) and when trying a squeeze bunt.

Are there workarounds that I'm not seeing on the forums? This is getting really frustrating when I know it's going to crash at some point. I've made it to the 7th inning once and the 4th inning another time but never further than that.

- No other apps are running
- Have restarted the device before playing the game each time after the first 2 crashes.

Happening to me too...

I have iPhone 3GS iOS version 4.2.1, mine is not jail broken either and I have been turning off and back on before beginning. I cannot get through 2-3 games without crashing. Very frustrating

Ok, it is really strange. Would you guys do me a favor an just simulate a season (not playing out games)? Can you finish it without crash?

Another question: did you quit the game where the crash occurs during the match and resumed it later?

Maybe you can send me the crash reports (I will try to find a solution):

Sync your device with itunes. After that, go to:

~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME> (on Mac)

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME> (Win Vista and Win 7)

C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/<DEVICE_NAME> (win XP)

Zip the last crash reports and send them to: sebastian@ootpdevelopments.com

I will try to help you. Your devices should not have problems at all to play iOOTP.

Thanks, Sebastian! I have sent my crash reports to your email. Hopefully this will help you decipher my problem
