best single pitching season performances?

My personal best is Jake Peavy's 35-2 record in 2006, using a four man rotation, with a 2.64 ERA. Guess he got really lucky.

what unreal seasons have you guys had?

Mine was 1902 with rookie Alex Pearson of the Cardinals, he only gets a SP spot because of injury but proceeds to win the ERA title (sort of) with 148 IP and a 1.22 ERA but has a 7-11 record. 30 of his 50 runs allowed were unearned mainly because of Otto Kruegers horrible F% at SS
