40 Man Roster

I please need to know how one removes a player from the 40 man roster and adds a player to the roster without having to release the player.

If your 40-man roster is full, you have to remove a player from it in order to add a player to it.

Put the player on waivers, if you need the spot immediately, waive/DFA him.
