Database question

Is it possible to change databases after a game has started? What I mean is after I create a fictional league using the standard database, can I change it to the gambo/spritz db and run it like that or is that not possible?

You would likely get alot of missing players as players debut earlier in that database, therefore in your in 1980 and start the new DB in 1981 all the guys who debuted after 1980 in the majors but before 1981 professionally would be missing like per se Wade Boggs, Don Mattingly, Cal Ripken...
