Upgrade to new version and draft question

Just purchased OOTP11 and WOW..........overwhelming is an understatement. I had been playing Front Office Manager for XBOX360 and found several people on the forums praising OOTP. Glad I switched. This is awesome and exactly what I was looking for. FOM is now collecting dust.

Just curious for future reference. If I purchase OOTP12 when it's released I know I can import my OOTP11 league and it keeps the stats and such but how does it handle the roster difference going from ML2010 to what I assume will be ML2011? Does your leagues roster's stay intact? What happens with the draft picks that would populate the new rosters in ML2011?

Second question is regarding the draft. If I stick with OOTP11 does OOTP Developments issue draft updates to download for each season or does the game create it's own players for the draft?

Firt of all...Welcome aboard..Your rosters from your 11 wll stay the same as far as I know...If your importing from 11 to 12 and haven't started the 2011 season then you can update your rosters if you want to 2011 once you begin that season. No, to OOTP offering roster or draft updates except for current releases in patches.beyond the current season, the game generates it's own draft picks,.but you may find updates like that in the MOD section. You should check that out anyway...lots of good stuff there..
Don't take my answers as gospel as there's still a lot I don't know..
