Can not access Free Agents

Hello Community...

I have started my first league, 1963 Japanese league. When I opened the rosters, I noticed that some of the players (star players) where not on their rosters. In order to correct this, I found them in the free agent list but when I click on them to try to sign them... I can not. Even though they are free agents, I can not figure out how to place them on a roster. What am I doing wrong?

You will probably have to click on your Manager Name and, on the drop-down, select "Act as"". Then select the team on which you want to place the player. Then you should get the option to sign the player (when you right-click on the player's name). That's the only way I know how to do it. Someone else may have another way.

Thanks for that. That works for some of the players. But for the rest, I dont get the option to sign the player. Very confusing.

Here is more information... I am finding more stuff. When I look at the free agent pool by selecting free agent from the select league button on the top bar. I am able to offer contract to those players. And there are very few players listed. But when I go to the bottom bar and click on the magnifying glass (next to my name) I can see alot more free agents alot of which I can not offer contracts too, even though they are not on any teams.
