Advice on being GM in game

So I want to play the game as just the GM and leave the coaching to the coaches and managers but my question is what is the best way to achieve this?

Thanks for any help/info! Just ive had the game about 4 days and i must have restarted about 80 times already

Just make roster moves, then. And sim the games.
