Need help installing new templates for baseball cards

I am new to modding OOTP, but I would love to use some new baseball card templates. I just can't get them to work.

My template of choice is 1990 Post, which includes 90_post.xml, 90_post_as.xml. and 90_post_hf.xml as well as the image for the card.

I put the xml files in /bb_cards/templates and the image in bb_cards/templates/images, but when I generate the card in-game it still uses the default template.

Am I putting the files in the right place? If so, how do I tell OOTP to use a modified template?

you need to rename the templates you want to use as default all-star and hof. I would suggest renaming the ones currently with those names first as with something like default-game etc.

EDIT: you also need to put the image files in the image folder for them to work properly

Thanks for your reply. The cards are being generated now. Unfortunately, there are no stats or anything in the created cards. Just the player's picture and name.

Did you modify the xml files at all? It's odd that it's showing somethings but not everything. Also, what version of OOTP are you using?

I think 11.2.28 it the last version of OOTP 11. If you aren't using that version then update to it... HERE
