Help- should i do this trade?

Chicago Fire offer:
LF Rickey Henderson 20 yrs old. the rickey. keads ABF North in SB but batting only .258 but does have 16 hr and 45 rbi makes 450 k wants 7.5 in arbitration
Single-A pitching prospect no where on my radar

to NY Giants for:
LF/RF L/L Greg Cooper currently leading the North at .407 22hr 75 rbi makes 3.5 wants 4.5 in arbitration....

I am terrible in avg vs LHP Cooper bats .432 vs lefties which is impressive since he is a leftie also.

Cooper also bats .514 with runners in scoring position while my team batting avg with RISP is .230.
I have Nick Sullivan SS who can bat leadoff but is struggling this yr.
I also have 2 good players on teh DL for another 2 weeks.

This move is for playoffs, I have a 7 game lead over San Jose in the North. 30jul06

26 i made the trade since the trade.
i resigned Coop to a 3 yr extension at 4.5 mil he has hit .378 8 hr 35 rbi for me, while my 6 time consecutive mvp cf who i moved batting 4th in the lineup has batted .454 21 hr 39 rbi since the trade and has moved in #4 in avg #2 in hr and #1 in rbi....
i did lose my #4 Sp for the next 10 months, he is due to have Tommy John so i probably wont use him at all in 2007 pitch him outta teh pen in 2008 then back into a SP position in 2009.

The move for Cooper was to win the World series since either team i will face has a plethora of L SP and my team batting avg vs lefities is .219 cooper is still batting .389 vs lefties. plus he will be great for the future.
