The New MLB

Nov 1st 2010

After a year where Colorado beat Minnesota in the World series, Bud Selig resigned and a new commissioner was appointed.

Stephan Paquette a young business man was hired by the managers to bring MLB back on top of the sports world. One of the main changes that new commissioner is going to implement in his 1st year are:

-6 new teams will be brought in:Montreal, Charlotte, Memphis, Louisville, San Antonio and Las Vegas

-New revenue sharing, all teams will share the pool of TV Revenue

-Teams will put 70% in a pool to be shared by all clubs

-No compensation from losing a FA

-FA will be granted after 8 years of service

-drafted players will no longer get signing bonus, and will have no choice to sign their 1st contract with the team that drafted them

-there will be a radical re alignment to promote rivalries.

The goal of the new commissioner will be to even the playing field and hopefully will have more parody in the league witch will bring back the fans

Hi everyone,

Trying a Dynasty again, but this with a little twist

I will be writing this Dynasty as the owner of the Montreal Expos, i will not take over the team but watch games from my luxury box. The only thing i might do is draft in the 1st round in the amateur draft, or put pressure on my gm to draft who i want and I will fire the GM if needed and that's it

the league is already 10 games in, i didn't take part in the expansion draft and the amateur draft this year, i simmed to fast

the other teams where aloud to protect 20 players, so there was some ok players available.

please leave your feedback or ask questions,

19Arp2011 roster news

Bill walked in into my office today to tell me he signed 2 more players to minor league deals

Jason Phillips C 34 years old, only for depth in the minors we sent him down to Buffalo A

Heath Phillips SP 29 years old, he will be sent to Minneapolis AA

with the lack of offense, I did tell Thomas to start looking for upgrades or young players.

tonight we play Cleveland again, hope the offense wakes up.

20Apr2011

Bill walked into my office this afternoon, and told me he got some help for our AAA club, maybe to help develop our young pitcher Taillon

we signed to a minor league deal Rod Barajas C 35 years old

also signed Kenny Rodriguez 26SP and assigned him to AA, he played A last season

and on an other note, we face Masterson 0-3 pitcher tonight i hope we can snap our losing streak

2011 Staff

I thought I would introduce the staff

General Manager- Bill Hudson 59 signed through 2015 19 years of exp. Was an excelent choice to build a team, he favors prospects, is an excellent judge of talent

Manager Thomas Huges 53 23 years of exp, no major league exp. he handles rookies really well and a great teacher.

22April2011 Roster Move

an other depth move for our AA team, Matt Torra SP 26 years old, has 1.5 pot. Killer Bee's are 6-2 and leading their div, so is our AAA team. So future is not so bad I guess.

In Bill i trust, hopes he spends my money well

04/25/11 League news

Beckham Week's Best in AL: So far in his young career, Tim Beckham has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the American League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.

The 21-year-old Louisville Bats shortstop hit at a torrid .552 clip as he collected 16 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 12 runs scored.

This season Beckham has hit at a .337 clip with 11 RBIs, 6 home runs and 20 runs scored.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Star of the Week Picked in NL: 26-year-old Adam Moore sent shock waves through Major League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the National League Player of the Week Award.

A newcomer to the league, Moore made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .435 average, 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 runs batted in.

Where the Seattle Mariners catcher goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Moore certainly made his mark last week.

In 17 games this season Moore is batting .302 with 19 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 9 runs and driven in 8.
