Relocating a team
If I want to relocate a team do I have to do something first? Or do I just type in a new name/city? Also what do I do with the historical ID which is empty for all my teams so fat?
Thanks, Skywalker76 |

Long story short, if you are playing strictly fictional, then all you do is change the location (and ballpark, franchise name, etc.) when you move a team. You may also want to look at ballpark factors and weather (if you are the commissioner). If you are doing like me, and even more importantly, if you are doing a pure historical simulation, then those historical team ID's are really important and should not be changed. Chances are you will have some or all of the Historical Progressing Options set and those key off the team ID's. As a matter of fact, with some of those set you won't have to worry about moving your teams; the game will do that for you. Although I havent relocated a team recently, I change the teams under the League Setup page vs the teams homepage.

It's important, by the way, to regenerate the schedule if a team move is from division to division or subleague to subleague.
