"psid" upside down & Duck

Ok.

Maybe I'm really naive about something obvious.
Maybe I'm knocking on an insideraholic Taboo.
Maybe I'm misspoken.
Forgive me.

But I can not figure out why/what the upside down "psid" and the picture of a Duck appear on the opening screen.

If allowed. Can anybody explain?

The duck is the logo of PISD, the company that makes some of the libraries that the game is developed against.
