Getting Internet Settings to Owners

We recently converted up from a 6 league to 11.

Initially, I just zipped up the league directory from 11 and distributed it the owners in order to facilitate everyone's initial set-up.

However, and I've been reading that this is not an uncommon event, some of the internet settings for downloading league files and exporting team files did not make it to a couple or three of the owners. One owner lives here in town so I was able to physically enter the correct settings and make sure everything works. The others live in other parts of the country and I cannot get to them.

I've been reading that short of giving out FTP passwords and the such, the easiest way to get the correct internet settings to these owners is to send them either a DAT file or config file. However, I am getting confused from reading posts and need clarification on the following issues:

1. Which file(s) contain the internet settings?

2. What is the best way to distribute this file to the owners who need it? For instance, can I just e-mail it to them and tell them to put in the appropriate directory or do I put it on the server and have them download it or something else entirely? Does the keycode come into play with one or all of these options?

I appreciate any and all help.

you would need to post or email your league's "accountsdata_gms.dat" file for them.
