Minor League structure affect on player quality?
In the new game I am creating I would like to limit the number of minor leagues I have... let's say just AAA or maybe both AAA and AA
What are the thoughts on whether this affects player quality? If I do just AAA will I start with 'AAA quality' players or will half of them be terrible. As a side question, thoughts on taking a current league and simply deleting the lower minor leagues? Thanks, Doug A |

No reason you can't do that. When I create leagues, I only use AAA and AA. Anything more than that is too complicated for my tastes.
Players are created for each minor league level based on the Player Creation Modifiers, which you can find on the Strategy tab of League setup. These PCMs basically adjust the quality of the player created in relationship to a typical ML player of the day. They are designed to produce players appropriate to the minor league level. I don't have an opinion about taking a more complex league and deleting the lower levels. The guys on those lower level teams will end up on the FA list, so you have to figure out what you want to do about them. |

![]() And I assume it won't screw up subsequent season player creation - I know there are certain things the game doesn't like you doing. Doug A |
