HELP! historical lg-stuck on draft day-cant get to 4.1.1910

i'm in 1910, and we do an 8 round draft (8 team league) that is scheduled for 3.31.1910. i manually put in the 1st 4 rounds of the draft, then let the AI finish the next 4 rounds. the draft is over, but an error message of "the following event has not yet been finished: 1910 First Year player draft. you are now taken to the draft screen...". at the draft screen, the number of rounds is set at 8, the current round is 9. when i hit "continue draft" there are no players listed and it says in the lower left corner "the draft is finished!" what can i do to fix this? i checked the ootp9 tech support forum and couldnt find anything similar.
