OOTP 8 - I cannot get jerseys to show up

Ok I started a 1901 league, with the International and American Association to throw MLB castoffs into and maybe the more talented of these fake players can play in the Show.

I downloaded a zip file from Padresfans site with jerseys and caps. I put them into my documents..../jerseys and NADA

I still see fictional players with modern uniforms. It's a little frustrating...especially when i followed the readme
Can someone please help?

NB: I am not sure which jerseys file you placed the jerseys in. If you place them in ootp11/jerseys these will only import on creation. If you place them in savedgame/X/X then it should override but I have seen it go back to ootp11/jerseys even after importing to savedgames. It only happened once but it has happened.

I had this problem with a league. My problem was that for some reason the game would not get rid of the Jerseys in the main jersey directory. I had to move all jerseys to a back up folder, delete the jerseys in the saved game jersey folder and then the jerseys took. It is a glitch that does not happen often but it is a pain when it does.

I know this sounds silly but check spellings too. I don't know how many times I have a problem with something like it is Mobile Baybears or Mobile Bay Bears. The space causes the game not to import if there is no space in the file in the folder it tries to import from.
