1. i have downloaded pics that i used with 8 and i also use these for high heat 2003. i have been putting the pics from lets say 1997 i9nto the image folder then when i take lets say 1993 it will overwrite some players with same name brian hunter being 1 kevin brown being the other. 1 was a C for TOR the other u know who he is...do i need to take the pics out of the year that they r in or can i leave them in the image folder based on yr?

2. i did an inaugural draft starting at 2000 drafted about 35 players or so....where r the minor leaguers?

3. if i start at 1876 as say the cubs GM and i want to become the White Sox GM in 1901 if i quit from teh cubs how do i guarentee that i will becoem GM of the Sox in 1901..

4. how do i edit contracts....i cloned roger clemens and made him into myself for teh 2000 season but my ml time has 17 yrs listed. i was 24 in 2000.

5. how does the logo manager program work i tried to make a custom uni based on what i found on someones photobucket site. but the uni isnt coming up in the game.

thats it for now i will add any future questions i have to this thread.

I'll try to take a stab at some of these that I can answer - others will have to come behind later to answer the rest.

I'm assuming you're using a historical league. If you are, there will be no pure minor leaguers. The modified Lehman database that the game uses to create historical game only contains statistics for players who played in major league games. Thus by starting a game in 2000, you're drafting from a pool of all major league players who played at least one game in 2000. From there, you can create a draft to add fictional players to give minor league depth, or you play with ghost players or just a reserve roster to handle the extra players you have. The reason the game doesn't have minor league players is because of the spotty (but improving) records that exist for minor league players and the difficulty of translating those statistics that do exist into meaningful ratings. For example, what does a .300 average in the AA Texas League mean in 2003 vs. 1983 for instance?

You can be guaranteed to take any job if you go into Commissioner Mode, which is available from the Manager Options screen. If you check Commissioner Mode and go to Available Jobs, you'll see any job is available to you and you will be hired if you click Apply.

Similar response to the question above. If you go into Commissioner Mode, when you go to a player's profile, you'll see an extra tab - Editor. If you go into the editor tab, you can change a player's age, service time, contract, ratings, etc.

There is an Edit Options and Ballpark button available on the Home Page tab of your team. See the link below from the OOTP 10 manual (it is the same in OOTP11). From there you can edit uniforms from the Edit Logos, Colors, and Uniforms button. I think you have to bee in Commissioner Mode to do this. Also, the uniforms must be a 512x512 PNG file IIRC.

small hick town but yeah we have about 12 baseball diamonds scattered throughout town including 1 little league team the Grinders..... which is based off of White Sox Grinder Rules....my new fav team

lets say i have a team that is disbanding in say 2008 with an exspansion team in 2009 how do i make players from the disbanded team go into the free agent pool ??

Yes. From any of your team pages, there is a button at the bottom right called Affiliated Teams. Click that to choose which minor league team you want to edit. Then the tab at the top navigate the current minor league team just like your major league team.
