FOOL-X upgrades to OOTP11 and has 1 opening!

FOOL-X is a fast sim league that is part of the FOOL Community. Just like its predecessor, it is a fictional fast sim league that sims one season every real life week. We split the sim-year up into five individual sims that run each weekday. (We take Saturday and Sundays off).

Stable Ownership and Strong Community

We are currently about to start our 49th season of FOOL-X and have the majority of the league as owners that have been around either FOOL-X since the beginning or a part of the overall FOOL community for several years. There is strong competition between fellow owners to claim the yearly FOOL-X title and get their team on the FOOL Champion's Row but that does not stop owners from offering up thoughts or advice for newer owners.

In a fast sim league, deeper immersion is possible!

One of the great draws to a fast sim league is that it is one of the only places that you will be able to get fully immersed into a league/franchise/player's full history. Taking over a losing franchise in most online leagues could take several Real life years to turn them around and make them competitive again. In FOOL-X, you have complete control of the franchise at the start and in a matter of only a few weeks can really put your stamp on the team. FOOL-X also lets you have the unique experience of being able to watch player careers from the minute they are drafted, through their entire career and possibly some day elected to the Hall of Fame. It is quite common for owners to have such a strong attraction to a player in FOOL-X, after 15 seasons that they will stick with them even at the cost of their team just to see what records they might end up writing!

One you go Fast Sim, you can't go back to Slow Sim leagues!

Fast Sim leagues might not be for everyone, but one of the most common comments that I receive from league members is that playing FOOL leagues has spoiled them. Being able to get your OOTP sim results every single day of the week causes normal slow-paced leagues to feel slow or dull to them after a while. If you are currently in a slow-paced league and find yourself constantly adding more and more leagues to get enough, perhaps joining a FOOL league is the fix that you are looking for!
