Updating Player Photos in Spring Training?

Searched the forum to see if anyone else had an answer to this and couldn't spot it so please forgive if I've missed this being identified as an issue.

I play out every game as manager and just started my second season - have the latest patch installed. For some reason, all the free agents that signed have reverted to the blue non-team hats and players who moved since the previous season are back to wearing their old uniforms. So, I used the Game Options screen and tried to force an update (tried both types of forcing) and it still didn't fix it, even though it took quite a while to run. Then I went into the team uniform settings and tried doing an 'update the entire team' and still the newly-signed free agents remained blue even though they are on the active roster. However, if I call up each individual player with the blue hat and then click on 'same picture' the uniform then fixes itself. Obviously, I don't want to call up every player one at a time but I do want the photos to be updated to reflect the new teams.

My question for the veterans around here is this: Does anyone know if maybe this problem only occurs in spring training because of the expanded roster? Like when the regular season starts, will the photos start updating again? I was surprised that neither of the two force update options in the game setup nor the one on the uniform screen actually works to update the photos and after playing out a full 162-game season already, it's very much lessening my enjoyment of the game to play teams filled with blue hats or even the old hats of the uniforms the players played the previous season. Oh, and the update option is set to 'always update as needed' and has been throughout my game play. In fact, when the players first signed, the uniforms were updating in the news reports and they seemed to revert to blue once spring training got underway.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can let me know any workaround or better yet, if this just a bug I'll see in spring training that will go away when the real season starts.

I could be wrong but I'm sure it's a bug in the fg update. A workaround is posted somewhere but I don't remember where right now, what I do is to check all team one by one and update the player picture using the same picture option in the player profile (for each of them). This is sure quite annoying to do it everytime a player move and it's the first thing I hope that will be fix in the next patch.

This is definitely some kind of bug b/c I just experienced this exact same problem for myself tonight. Just finished spring training and I had a bunch of players in the blue hat. That is really really annoying and I hope they fix this in the next patch. Does anyone know if this has been reported?

This is a frustrating bug. We put a lot of work into our uniforms and they don't even wear them!

So I figured I would have to update it using "same picture" right? I test it out on one guy and it totally changes his face. We've already done a lot of history and stories about our players and now its going to change their whole look?

I clicked "same picture" again and it stays with the same face now...just adjusts the angle.

I am not using any imported files. Its just fictional with generated faces. Why are they changing?

Was there an easy fix to this? I'm having a heck of time getting my pictures to update in my SP league. It will go through the entire process of update, or force update, but there certain players it just won't work for. The only thing I've added is the Facial Hair mod.

If I go to Pictures and select Same Pitcher is updates it, but with an entire new player photo. Auto-reload Picture does nothing.

My OOTP Pref for Face Gen

Enabled
Standard
Straight
Out
Search for photo

Fictional Player Options

All Players
Upon Creation
Each 1st
No Coach Pictures
Normal

Yes to Load Player Pics Automatically
Yes to Load Photofit files Automatically

I have a small league and I had to go to every player in the league and click on same picture. It changed all of them but the photos have been stable since.

I don't know a way around this. As far as I can tell there has been mandatory, league wide, facial reconstruction.
