Help With Data base Mod

I downloaded Spritzes Real Time, High School, All Players DB. What does this do exactly?

Sorry for the dumb question, but thanks in advance

The database's allow you to do many things with historical data.

For example, if you were to start a historical league in let's say 1980, you can then use the "HighSchool" database for your draft pool from year to year to have access to all historical players from their high school graduating year. As opposed to the standard db (lahman) that comes with the game - the db that comes with the game only allows you to bring in historical players from the time they debuted in real lift, so if a player made his MLB debut at 25 yrs old, that is the age he will appear in your draft.

This is just one example of what they can do, I'm sure some more experienced players can elaborate better than me

starting to understand a little.

So whats the difference between Real Team Stats All Players DB, and the Real Debut Real Team No Asians DB?

There are about 6 different ones, just not to sure what they all do.

Real debut brings in players when the started. His DB includes Negro leagues, Japanese and Korean league players. The No Asian excludes the Japanese and Korean league players. The HS school verions debut at age 18.

Now if i wanted to use one of these, what would it do to the current mlb2010 saved game im already using to play. Would it mess it up at all?

You would need to create a new folder under the /stats folder (e.g. Spritze HS) Would would then move all of his files into that folder. Your current game would be unaffected because it is pointing to /stats/master.csv. You the start a new game with his DB and point to /stats/Spritze HS/master.csv (or whatever you called your new folder).

You can then have as many different DB as you would like simply by creating a new folder in the /stats folder.
