Adjusted Photo Pack

This corrects all the duplicate/mis-matched names in the photo pack and the game. I have taken the recent posting from the photo thread (2010 05.zip) and modified either the names of the .jpg files or the games master.csv(or both) to match all the exisiting photos. You must start a new league to make this work, it will not work with existing leagues.

Mostly I have added a middle initial as appropriate. I tried to use Baseball_Reference as a tie breaker in some names. (Sr)/(Jr) was used as appropriate.

To utilize you must backup the /stats folder. My technique is as follows

1) In the stats folder create a folder named 'original'.

2) Move all the game provided .csv and .odb files to this folder.

(You now have a back up as well as access to all the original game files)

3) Create a new folder for your mod. (e.g. 'Names Mod').

4) Copy all the files, EXCEPT the .odb, from the original folder to the new folder (e.g. 'Names Mod').

5) Download and unzip the file below.

6) copy the master.csv to the new folder (e.g. 'Names Mod'). This will overlay the master.csv.

7) Take the photos in the Baseball Photo folder and copy them to your /photos folder.

When you start a new league make sure you point to the /stats/(new folder)/master.csv. This is why existing leagues won't pick up the pictures, even if you copy them to your saved_games/...../images folder. This is also why you must delete the .odb as the game tries to use it first for historical leagues and this only mods the master.csv.
